The Student Advice Centre can give you free, independent and confidential information, advice and support on a range of academic and non-academic issues.
We have professional advisers and elected student representatives and the service is completely confidential, independent from the University and no issue is too big or too small for us to deal with.

February 2010: Beware of bogus emails
Some students have been receiving emails that claim to come from Student Finance England and ask you to click on a link and provide your account and/or security details. These emails are bogus.

Report any suspicious emails to security@slc.co.uk and change your student finance account login details (go to www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance) if you are worried that someone may already have them.
