► Council Housing
If you would like to apply for council housing, you will have to join the register of your local council.

- Adur District Council
If you are literally homeless the council may have to provide you with emergency accommodation, if you are also in "priority need". Groups regarded as being in priority need include those with dependent children, those who are vulnerable due to illness or disability and pregnant women. However, the rules are complicated so please seek advice from the Student Advice Centre (or from Shelter if we are closed).
