Who We Are
USSU Trading Ltd is a company which provides services (food, shops and entertainment) on campus, via our bars the Cube nightclub and three on-campus shops. We run all of our services on behalf of the Union and Students, and by doing so provide jobs (and therefore money) for students, and profit (money!) for the University of Sussex Students' Union (USSU)
...so where you buy that sandwich or drink really can make a difference

Bar life, Shop life, Events life, Union life; all of them need to be managed and delivered by people genuinely committed to wanting to do the best for Sussex students. We employ over 200 full-time and part-time staff, the majority of whom are students at the University of Sussex.

Freshers Only
In order to get a staff from the whole range of academic years, we recruit Freshers every year.
We have made a lot of changes, and due to this we don't currently need staff to work in our Retail Outlets, however we will still be recruiting for our Bars.
Details, including an on-line application form, will be posted soon, on www.ussu.info/jobs for students new to Sussex to apply electronically and, for those shortlisted, our Freshers-Only Selection Event has now been scheduled for Tuesday 13th October .
