► BrightWAMS in Sussex Society Information
BrightWAMS in Sussex is a student-led outreach programme to promote educational awareness in the local community.
BrightWAMS in Sussex has three main objectives:
- To drive educational attainment
- To raise future aspirations
- To form strong links between BSMS and the local community
Primarily, BrightWAMS in Sussex will be working with year 5, year 6 and year 7 students from local state schools who have the potential to achieve, and with the future aim of branching out into local community-led activities, such as youth clubs, to encourage others to aim higher.
BrightWAMS in Sussex will also work with the parents and teachers of the students in educating about higher education, access to medicine and the potential future that lies ahead, in the hope of creating a holistic approach to improving educational attainment of each student.
