Interested in standing, but don't know where to start?

We've made a step-by-step guide to standing for election which explains the whole process

Nominations are being processed online this year: before you fill in your nomination form, you will need to prepare the following information:

A candidate photo of yourself in .jpg format (this is optional, but recommended. Your photo will appear next to your name on the ballot)
A manifesto of up to 100 words
A slogan (optional) of up to 5 words (this will appear next to your name on the ballot)
You will also need to ask 10 current Sussex students to support your nomination – you will need to gather following info about each of your supporters:
- Name
- Sussex email address
- Department of study
- Year of study

Once you have collected this information, follow this link to complete our Nomination Form online
