What Is RAG?
Raising cash from the unsuspecting public and giving it to charities, both local and national!
At Sussex Rag we aim to have an exhorbitant amount of fun while raising cash and Giving it to charities, both local and national, through what ever means. Whether this be through the traditional Rag sweetstall to the more adventurous challenges like bungee jumping and skydiving!
To briefly summarise what Rag is about and what it feels like to be part of an award winning society at Sussex its:
- Being part of a team
- Doing something fun or slightly nuts to raise cash
- Motivating a group of hungover volunteers to stand outside in the freezing rain or snow, blazing hot sunshine, etc...
- Making people laugh as they find you dressed like a fairy, bear, bride, or variations of "nutcase"
As many will probably tell you, the fact that Rags through the ages have raised a lot of very serious money for a lot of very grateful charities is wonderful... but at the end of the day everyone has their own very personal reasons for doing it, so why not join Sussex Rag today!

Pub Quiz
RAG is hosting a pub quiz at EAST SLOPE BAR this SUNDAY (8th Nov) from around 8pm. Entry is £2 per person, prizes to be won, with all proceeds going to our three charities for the year!

Weekly Meeting
Come join us at our weekly meeting to find out more about what RAG does, and what events are coming up in the next few weeks. Also, it's a chance for you to offer any ideas of events that we could organise. Come join us on Wednesday (11th Nov) in the DEBATING CHAMBER, Upstairs in Falmer House at 1PM

***Hue Help Raid***
On Saturday the 14th November, 9-1, Sussex RAG wil take to the streets of brighton to collect for the wonderful Hue Help, which is one of our three chosen charities this year.
To make it all the more fun and attract lots of atention and money, we can be in fancy dress - the theme of your choice (post ideas on wall), or Becca can provide t-shirts if we'd rather do that.
As an added incentive, the star raider who collects the most will get a prize to say thankyou for your fabulous efforts :)
